QUESTION: How do I create a Facebook account for my business? 

ANSWER:  Business accounts in Facebook are called "pages" or "fan pages."  Every page must be associated with a personal profile.  Word of caution! Facebook has been known to suspend accounts when users attempt to use their personal profile page as a business page.  So create your personal profile page first.  Then add as many "business pages" as your social media strategy requires. 

Visit the create a page application on Facebook and choose what type of page you would like to add.  You need to be the official representative of the business, product, or artist that your page will be about.
